Day 01: Fly from the UK to San José Arrive at Juan Santamaria International Airport. After passing through Immigration you will be met by one of our representatives. He will take you to your hotel and give you your welcome kit. (B)
Day 02: Free day to explore San José at your own pace, or just relax. Xandari Hotel. (B)
Day 03: Pick up rental car at San José. Self-drive to Arenal (3.2 hours). Deluxe Cottage. (B)
Parque Nacional Volcán Arenal protects eight of Costa Rica's 12 life zones including Lake Arenal. Arenal Volcano has been constantly active since it woke up after 400 years & produces huge ash columns, explosions and glowing red lava almost every day. Fascinating fauna and flora exist here in amazing quantities making this a prime location for viewing many many different species of both plants and animals.
Day 04: Free day at Arenal to explore or just relax. Hotel. (B)
Day 05: Self-drive to Rincón de la Vieja (4 hours). Borinquen Hotel. Standard Bungalow. (B)
Known for its stunning diversity of flora and fauna, this national park is home to two volcanoes, as well as six different volcanic peaks, and thirty two rivers and streams. Beautiful waterfalls, soothing hot springs, boiling mud pits, a fresh water volcanic lagoon, picnic areas and long-winding trails that one can hike or horse back rides.
Day 06 & 07: Free day at Rincón de la Vieja. Borinquen Hotel. (B)

Manuel Antonio, on the Pacific Coast with an estuary, mangroves, a lagoon, beaches and winding paths in a protected marine environment. Take a walk through the tropical forest and find the wildlife Costa Rica is known for, monkeys, sloths and birds.
Day 12 & 13: Free days to explore and relax at this fabulous tropical forest and beach (B)
Day 14: Self-drive to San Jose (3.5 hours). Prima room. (B)

Day 02: Pick up rental car at hotel lobby. Self-drive to Bajos del Toro. (B, L, D) You stay at a Lodge & Spa which is a planet-friendly luxury hotel located in Costa Rica’s lush central volcanic valley, a destination where daily stress hushes and the sounds of nature bloom. This Costa Rican hotel features five hundred private acres of tropical cloud forest, hidden waterfalls, a nature-immersed spa, yoga, hiking, meditation, and healthy organic cuisine.
Day 03: Day at leisure at your Bajos del Toro Lodge. (B, L,D)
Day 04: Self-drive to Punta Islita. (B)
Your hotel is set alongside the open-ocean coastline of the Nicoya Peninsula. Rugged landscape and colourful communities rich in stunning beaches, mountains, vibrant culture and charm. The Hotel is surrounded by tiny rural villages with a total population of about 1300.
Day 05 & 06: Free day at leisure at Punta Islita. (B)
Day 07: Self-drive to Papagayo. (B)
The hotel is located on Costa Rica’s northwest Pacific coast within the province of Guanacaste, and offers a calm, peaceful ambience. The pampas – or prairie – landscape is an unusual mix of grassy savannahs, immense cattle ranches and tropical dry forest, backed by volcanic mountain ranges. Guanacaste also offers some of the country’s best beaches – with shores stretching about 160 kilometres (99 miles) from the border with Nicaragua to the tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. Some beaches have been declared protected breeding grounds for the leatherback sea turtle.
